Proposals to Levy a Subscription Fee and Enact an ASA Constitution & Code of By-Laws

The ASA is putting forward two discussion papers in conjunction with the upcoming 8th ASA Conference.

All members are kindly requested to download and review the attached discussion papers and vote for the proposed Constitution & By-Laws. Comments for each discussion paper are welcome via email at [email protected]. Voting will close on 18:00 hrs 27 Oct 2024.

There is no need to vote on the issue of subscription. The new President and incoming Governing Council will make a decision after studying all the feedback (sent via email).

You may vote “Yes, as proposed” with the understanding that the following amendments will be made when the statutes are promulgated:

  • By-Laws, para 1.1 (page 4) change “pf” to “of”
  • By-Laws, para 3.2 (page 5), delete “in”
